About our conference.

WELCOME

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 5th International Conference “Antimicrobial Resistance – Current State and Perspectives,” which will take place in Novi Sad, Serbia, from May 28 to 30, 2026, at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad.

Over the past years, this conference has evolved into a leading regional platform for addressing antimicrobial resistance through a comprehensive One Health approach, bringing together experts from human and veterinary medicine, public health, environmental sciences, regulatory authorities, academia, and industry.

The 2026 edition is held under the official slogan: From Science to Practice.

Building on a strong scientific foundation, this year’s conference places a strategic emphasis on the translation of scientific evidence into real-world practice. Through high-level scientific sessions, multidisciplinary panel discussions, and practice-oriented workshops, the conference aims to facilitate meaningful dialogue, foster cross-sector collaboration, and support the development of effective, implementable solutions to combat antimicrobial resistance.

We look forward to welcoming you to Novi Sad and to your contribution to one of the most important global health challenges of our time.
