With great pleasure, we invite you to the 5th Student Symposium with International Participation, titled “Antimicrobial Resistance – A Challenge of the Present, a Threat to the Future,” organized by the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, as part of the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week established by the WHO. The symposium’s theme aligns with this year’s WHO slogan: “Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future,” which emphasizes the urgency of joint action in combating antimicrobial resistance.
The aim of the symposium is to connect students of veterinary medicine, human medicine, pharmacy, animal production, phytomedicine, and other related fields through the “One Health” concept, encouraging their education and active involvement in preventing antimicrobial resistance.
The program includes lectures by distinguished experts, multisectoral workshops, and a student research showcase.
